Nnamdi Asomugha

Seriously? Is this guy the best corner back in the league right now? I mean the reason i can't allow myself to buy this all stems from Madden 2005 and Brian McGackin, one of the only 4 people I literally hope I never see or hear from again. (The others include but are not limited to Peter Kapostacy and 2 NYS Troopers.) You see, in Madden 2005, at least I think it was 2005...it could be 2004 but I don't think it was. Anyway, in whichever Madden game I was playing there was an option where you could turn offsides off. This would allow retards (like Brian McGackin) to take a nickel corner (Asomugha) and blitz him hard off the edge. I say hard because the player would just run up to the line of scrimmage and they would not be allowed to go any further. However, when the ball was snapped, the player would be running at full speed. Not only is this a completely ridiculous way to play, but it's even worse to do it every down. Yes, I could hot read him and shift my TE and then grab 8 yard gains every down, but thats not the point. Also, Brian McGackin would not play unless we adjusted the rules to fit his style. That I feel made McGackin more of a prick. However, I never stooped to his level. It just wasn't my style to use a glitch in the game an cheat to win. I remember most of the kids we played with hating his stupid little trick, but not doing it when they went defense. Probably because it's a bitch move. Anyway, he won alot of games...not all, and certainly not blowing out everyone, but he won a lot of those games.  Then, when he obviously won because he was playing with an advantage, he gloated. I don't think I really have to explain why I hate Nnamdi Asomugha. If anyone is to blame, it's Brian McGackin. So, that's why I don't buy Nnamdi Asomugha as the best CB in the game. Sure, he is playing well.......but he's probably changing the rules of the game to cheat for his benefit. I honestly believe it. Try and prove me wrong.
